Focus, Discipline and Respect: Important Values at Juventus Academy

At Juventus Academy, we believe that developing young footballers is about much more than what happens with the ball at their feet. It is also about learning the importance of focus, discipline, respect and responsibility.

During every training session, team meeting and interaction with our coaches, players are expected to listen, stay engaged and make the most of every opportunity to learn. Being focused allows players to understand instructions, improve their performance and, importantly, show respect to their teammates and coaching staff.

We know that young players can sometimes lose concentration, become distracted or have moments when they find it difficult to stay focused. These are opportunities for coaches and players to work together, learn and improve.

However, when a player is consistently unfocused, disruptive or unwilling to follow reasonable instructions, the Academy may need to take appropriate action. This is not about punishment; it is about maintaining an environment where every player has the opportunity to learn, develop and enjoy football.

Our coaches will always aim to communicate clearly with players and, where necessary, with parents or guardians, so that everyone understands the expectations and how we can support the player in making positive progress.

At Juventus Academy, we want our players to understand that great footballers are not only recognised by their talent, but also by their attitude, commitment and willingness to learn.

Stay focused. Listen. Learn. Respect. Improve.
